- Graduated
from Higher institute of teacher/Baghdad, in social science,
1948.
- Graduated
from the Institute of Fine Arts in Baghdad and holds a diploma
in “Painting”
- Joined
with Jawad Salim the Baghdad Group for Modern Art, 1951.
- Took
free courses at the Beaux Arts/Paris, 1959.
- Worked
in Sa'audi Arabia as a teacher 1968-1969.
- Held
a large number of exhibition 1970 and 1971.
- Took
part in Camges-Sur-Mer Festival, France (1965) and Won the
National Prize.
- He
headed the department of esthetic studies in the Ministry of
culture and Information.
- He
published several studies on the history of Iraqi Art and other
critical studies, he
published articles in Iraqi and Arab
periodicals for a long time.
